"You may as well begin right here and now by realizing that the secret of having anything is first attaining the consciousness of it. Why is that? Because consciousness is God, and the moment you have the consciousness of a thing, consciousness creates it, whatever "it" may be-home, companionship, supply, employment, health, eternality, immortality. Your consciousness of it builds it."
Joel S. Goldsmith
Hello Again friends, as you can see from the above quotation, the solution to all of our problems in life is Consciousness. So it follows that in order for us to make this our most prosperous and productive year ever, we need to understand consciousness.
Consciousness or awareness has to unfold, in order for us to experience the joys of life that is our birthright.
The purpose of recommending that you see down quietly and meditate, is to allow consciousness to begin to unfold.
Over the years, all of us have been and are been bombarded by the race mind or material consciousness, which basically suggests that we are no good and that we are nobody's and the only way we are going to make it in life is by struggling. Do not buy that for one second, it's a lie that has been perpetuated for thousands of years based on the incomplete understanding of the biblical story of Adam and Eve.
Last time, I suggested you ignore those thoughts that try to interfere when you are meditating. The reason for that is because of the race mind which is always trying to tempt us to believe the worst of every situation and of ourselves. Those thoughts are not who you are. they are nothing but temptations calling your attention to see how you will respond.
If you go back and review the earlier blogs, you will remember that we spent quite a lot of time on discovering our true identity. That knowledge of our true identity must be brought to mind over and over again, until it becomes our fixed state of consciousness. To be continued next time. For now, continue practicing your quiet contemplation.
